  Lovely cafe with great service and atmosphere right next to our accommodations at Silver Star so my friends and I ventured in for a cappucino. I asked for a decaf cappuccino as I have an extreme sensitivity to caffeine but either I was given a regular capp or there is a trace of caffeine in their decaf coffee as I had a reaction that lasted the better part of 24 hours. I made a point to go back to the cafe the next morning to pass on what had happened to me and to ask that for future clients, the staff make a real effort to not have it happen to anyone else again. I also asked if I could be reimbursed for my day of skiing as I had the last day of my 3 day ski pass and was not able to use it. The young man I spoke with said he’d speak with the manager and get back to me. The owner called me at the end of the day, apologized profusely and asked if he could meet me in person to reimburse the ski pass money. I met the owner in the lobby of our hotel, who had money to reimburse me completely for my lost day of skiing, plus 2 croissants for my husband and myself. He was absolutely genuinely upset for what I had gone through and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I was greatly impressed with that kind of integrity and Bugaboos is going to be my choice of cafe when I return to Silver Star. Penny MacLeod
